I participated in a competition known as the Paseo Prototyping Challenge (http://paseoprototyping.org/) at SJSU as I was the leading role as the manager within my team of other multidisciplinary students to address and develop new solutions on how to enhance the city of San Jose to become a better environment for everyone. I also designed our team’s logo. Our prototype was developing a wearable technology that instantly calls for help by triggering with a switch without getting noticed. We seek to address the issue of the lack of safety for the social needs of students walking alone at night on campus in San Jose.
